Ryan has had some failures in his career as a defensive coordinator that has seen him ousted from a couple of jobs, lastly in New Orleans, where he was fired after the Saints became a wreck on defense.
By being back with his brother in Rex, he’ll be in a spot where he can be comfortable and not necessarily have to worry about job security. However, with the Bills’ playoff drought, there is big expectations for Rex and the front office in 2016.
Reportedly, the team has to make the playoffs or their will be sweeping changes. The Bills dealt with some injuries and under-performed in 2015, as they failed to make the playoffs once again.
With two big personalities in the locker room in the Ryan brothers, it’s going to be boom or bust for the Bills next season. It’s either a move that can pay off greatly or it’s one that’s going to have an entertaining downfall.
