Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan tried to hurdle Minnesota Vikings defenders and failed miserably.
Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan was once on American Ninja Warrior and there’s a reason that he didn’t win. He’s just not very good at leaping over things.
During the first quarter of the NFC Wild Card game between the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings, the games first mistake in the freezing cold weather occurred when a low snap was delivered to Ryan, who then tried to take off and run with the ball.
Not only did he try to take off with the ball and run with it, he also tried to hurdle a couple of Vikings defenders.
He failed miserably.

By landing on his head and his neck bending at an awkward angle, Ryan immediately left the field and was being checked on by trainers.
Usually if there is a bad snap on the play, it’s considered best if punters just fall on it instead of trying to make things worse on the play. While things didn’t get necessarily worse than they already were on the play, it did shake up Ryan on the play.

There’s only one punter on the roster, so it’s probably best that he doesn’t try to run with a football and try to hurdle defenders in freezing temperatures.
