Ciara sang the National Anthem at the College Football Playoff National Championship and people were unhappy
The College Football Playoff National Championship game is obviously a big deal for most everyone involved. Everyone involved includes Ciara, who sang the National Anthem prior to the game. To dress up for the occasion, the recording star wore a ball gown that, admittedly, showed a bit of skin. However, it was a bit too much skin for some people apparently.
For those who may have missed it, the dress was cut pretty low in the front, but was tastefully done (in the opinions of most people):
However, it was far less than appropriate in the eyes of many folks on social media and, as the good folks on Twitter always seem to do, they let their opinions on Ciara’s dress be known:
Y Ciara got that dress on at the football game?

Dear Ciara. You're stunning. But this is a National Championship Game. Kids are watching. Cover up.

Did Ciara think she was singing at a club? Why did she wear that dress to sing the National Anthem at the championship game?

I hope Ciara's dress was discounted since it was missing the fabric that would've actually covered her boobs.

If your kid is too young to handle seeing Ciara in a dress they shouldn't be watching a game predicated on physical violence.

"My 13y.o. son thinks Ciara has her dress on backward"
This seems like a lot of fake outrage over something that wasn’t that big of a deal. Watch any awards show ever and there are going to be dresses that are far more suggestive and revealing than Ciara’s was on Monday night. But then again, Twitter was basically created for people to get super angry over things that don’t matter, so I guess it’s serving it’s purpose in regards to Ciara.
