Musical David Bowie has died after a battler with cancer, leaving fans shocked and flocking to social media to send condolences.
There have been few stars in the history of entertainment that had as far reaching an impact as David Bowie. Whether it be music, movies or fashion, Bowie left his unique mark on the world in a way only he could — but that light has been extinguished as news of Bowie’s death broke early on Monday morning.
Bowie had been battling cancer for the last 18-months, and succumb to the disease on Monday. In the wake of his passing, fans turned to social media to not only send condolences but to unify in remembrance of a true entertainment original.
While it was the middle of the night in some parts of the world, that didn’t stop the outpouring of condolences on social media from rolling in.
