Even though they’re rolling through the season, the Kansas City Chiefs can’t seem to sell a lot of jerseys.

When it comes to figuring out who the hottest team in the NFL is during a given time period, people might use some different criteria. But right now, very few people can make the argument that the Kansas City Chiefs aren’t the team that’s on fire the most as the postseason rolls along here in January. They’re on a 10-game winning streak and they’re coming off a decimation of the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. Really, there are none better in the league.

Despite this success, though, they’re struggling in one department — jersey sales.

According to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Jersey Report, which reflects sales both nationwide and online, there aren’t too many popular players for this streaky team. To put things into perspective in this regard, Kansas City only has one player in the Top-50, and this player may or may not surprise you.

You might not be surprised to see that Charles in the Top-50 of jersey sales, because he is one of the best and most versatile running backs in all of the NFL. At the same time, though, he has been out with injury the majority of the season. But, that might also be the reason he’s all the way down at this No. 44 spot.

Still, as far as the Top-50 jerseys in the NFL go, you’d expect maybe one or two more players from a team that’s so hot to be in the fold, especially tight end Travis Kelce who repeatedly shows us that he’s one of the best at the position in the NFL.

Should the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, it will be very interesting to see not only what their ranks are at the end of the season, but especially heading into next year.
