NBA FanDuel Picks For January 12

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.

Here are my NBA FanDuel picks for January 12:

Next: Point Guards

Jan 8, 2016; New Orleans, LA, USA; New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans (1) moves the ball down the court during the first quarter of the game against the Indiana Pacers at the Smoothie King Center. Mandatory Credit: Matt Bush-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Michael Carter-Williams – Carter-Williams is really in a nice stretch and showing some maturation as a player. I like him at this price and think he is a great fit in most of my daily lineups as we have been having some solid nights lately. I will probably roll with him until he gets up over $7,800 or so.

PG – Tyreke Evans – Evans has been playing like a man on a mission lately. He is playing really well and has een over 40 fantasy points in his last few games. Get him active and expect him to be a valuable asset tonight.

Next: Shooting Guards

Shooting Guards:

SG – Jimmy Butler – Jimmy Butler is your father.

I just completed a trade for him in my 20 team, four keeper regular season league and this is how I am celebrating. I think he will have a monster game tonight regardless of what happens with my fantasy team.

SG – Lou Williams – Sweet Lou has been a pretty nice addition for the Lakers as they have been dealing with the aging Kobe Bryant. He has been a very consistent force for them and has been a solid fantasy play as well.

Next: Small Forwards

Dec 12, 2015; Chicago, IL, USA; Chicago Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic (44) is defended by New Orleans Pelicans forward Dante Cunningham (44) during the first half at the United Center. Mandatory Credit: Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Andrew Wiggins – Wiggins has been my default SF for the past few contests and I see no reason to quit trusting him now. He is a solid player and is only getting better right now. Add him to your daily fantasy roster and expect to see a nice game out of him.

SF – Nikola Mirotic – Mirotic seems to be taking to his new role at the three quite nicely. He could be playing so well that the Bulls might decide not to seek after a wing before the trade deadline runs out. Regardless of all of that, he is making for a very nice play across almost every fantasy format.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Jan 10, 2016; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (0) charges into Philadelphia 76ers forward Jerami Grant (39) during the first quarter at Wells Fargo Center. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Kevin Love – Love has had a couple of solid games in a row. I am not scared of his price and if he continues to produce as he has over his last two games we should be in great shape. Get him active and take a risk on his upside.

PF – Kristaps Porzingis – Porzingis is losing some of his early season hype, but he is still playing really well. Sometimes he does not even look like a rookie. I like him and I am hoping that he will be a low owned player and that he will have a great game for the home crowd.

Center:

C – Amir Johnson – Johnson is one of our value plays. He is not going to be the guy who is going to win this thing for us, but he should still contribute some valuable fantasy points for us. I like him in the lineup and he should drop close to 28 or so fantasy points. His average over the last five games has been 28.2 fantasy points.

We would like to thank you for stopping by and wish you all continued success in all of your fantasy sports leagues.
