The Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots are on a roll when it comes to jersey sales.

This sponsored post is brought to you by DICK’S Sporting Goods.

The NFL Playoffs started this past weekend with the Wild Card Round, but two teams that were not there competing on the field were two of the best teams in the NFL, the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots. With the Panthers being the No. 1 seed on the NFC side and the Patriots being the No. 2 seed on the AFC side, they were afforded the luxury of a bye week after being such successes this past season.

Yes indeed, the Patriots and the Panthers were two of the best teams in all of football this past season, and of course they have some pretty notable superstars at their disposal. You know, like superstars who are probably selling a lot of their jerseys on the market.

But, just how popular are some of theses Patriots and Panthers jerseys? Well, just a bit.

According to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Jersey Report, which reflects sales both nationwide and online, members of the Patriots and Panthers make up four out of the top six jerseys on the overall sales list.

Again, with two teams that have the stars the likes of the Patriots and Panthers do, this isn’t all that much of a shock and it’s really not all that staggering that Tom Brady is the one leading the way.

If anything, you’d expect that the roles of Luke Kuechly and Cam Newton would be reversed, with Newton at the No. 2 spot and Kuechly maybe earning that No. 6 slot. But, hey, it’s always nice to see someone on the defensive side of the ball get as much love as some of the flashy offensive stars.

These teams are clashing at the top of the jersey sales list, but now we’ll see if they clash on the field for Super Bowl 50.
