Former Clemson Tigers wide receiver Sammy Watkins showed some love for current Tigers wide receiver Hunter Renfrow.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins made a name for himself while he was a member of the Clemson Tigers. Current Tigers wide receiver Hunter Renfrow has also made himself a name in his career at Clemson.
During the first quarter of the National Championship Game, Renfrow caught two big touchdown passes from Deshaun Watson to give the Tigers the lead over the favorite Alabama Crimson Tide.
After scoring the two touchdowns, Renfrow was given some high praise on Twitter by Watkins.
He will be famous after this game..

Watkins is implying that if the world didn’t know Renfrow before, they are certainly about to get to know the next great Clemson wide receiver.
If Clemson is going to knock off Alabama and bring home a National Championship, it’s going to take big plays and guys stepping up to make a name for himself.
Early on thus far, Renfrow has been making a name for himself on the field on the big stage. If he can keep making big catches and scoring touchdowns, then Watkins’ words will become true and everyone is going to know just who Renfrow is by the end of the night if they didn’t already.
