LeBron James has been dunking more and more often lately which is always a nice thing to see. Considering his power and creativeness, LeBron dunks are often must see highlights, and on Tuesday night he utilized an opportunity to throw down something of a tribute dunk, by channeling his inner Karl Malone.

On the surface the dunk looks simple but part of that is LeBron being a mutant. Like most LeBron dunks there is plenty of power behind the throw down here, which is always a really fun part of dunks. So is channeling former NBA greats which earns LeBron bonus points for this one.

Hopefully LeBron keeps trying to emulate great dunkers because seeing him try to do things like the Statue of Liberty dunk among others could be a ton of fun. Considering that LeBron is someone who really seems to appreciate the history of the game it isn’t far-fetched to think about either. At the very least the recent uptick in LeBron in-game dunks is very much appreciated.
