Teams had Monday off after the D-League Showcase wrapped up Sunday evening in Santa Cruz, CA. Seven teams ended up going 2-0 during the Showcase, but the Sioux Falls Skyforce won the tiebreaker of Net Rating with their +13.3, so they took home the championship!
Last week also saw two call ups, with our previous No. 1 prospect Elliot Williams being signed by the Memphis Grizzlies and our No. 6 prospect Lorenzo Brown being snagged by the Phoenix Suns — both are 10-day contracts.
Naturally, we had two open spots on our weekly top-10 list because of it, but we actually have four newcomers this week coming out of the D-League Showcase, where a lot of players helped their stock moving forward. Some will get an NBA look, while others skyrocketed up international boards as well.
