It looks like the St. Louis Rams and San Diego Chargers are going to Los Angeles.

It’s time to load up the moving trucks and put up the for sale signs.

The NFL is coming home to Los Angeles and it looks like they have finally found a couple of new tenants. With the owners in the league getting together for the owner’s meetings, it was expected that it would be decided which teams would be moving to Los Angeles.

There were a couple proposals on the table with the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers coming together in Carson, but according to Ian Rapoport, the Raiders have bowed out after not getting the votes they wanted. The NFL will instead be going to Inglewood, where the Chargers will join on with the St. Louis Rams.

The fallout of this whole ordeal will certainly be interesting, as the city of St. Louis still owes money on the Edward Jones Dome and San Diego is losing the team they had for over a half-century, but the NFL is finally back in the Los Angeles market.

The Rams are back home and that’s certainly going to make plenty of Los Angeles residents happy. The Raiders meanwhile will have to find a new plan of action and stick it out in Oakland for the time being.

UPDATE: The Rams are officially on the move and the Chargers have the option to join them.
