Kenneth Faried might not be super well known for his defense, but he’s athletic enough for a really cool block highlight every once in awhile. This one he had on Harrison Barnes tonight was pretty great.

What should have been an easy dunk for Barnes turned into no points as Faried rejects him right at the rim. Blocks are difficult enough in a normal scenario, but Faried needed the perfect amount of timing and power here to avoid fouling Barnes. He succeeded, and got a highlight out of the deal. Barnes on the other hand had to run back the other direction in shame. It’s like a reverse posterization.
