NBA FanDuel Picks For January 13

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.

Here are my FanDuel picks for January 13:

Next: Point Guards

Jan 4, 2016; Brooklyn, NY, USA; Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas (4) drives up to the net past Brooklyn Nets forward Thaddeus Young (30) during the third quarter at Barclays Center. Boston Celtics won 103-94. Mandatory Credit: Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Isaiah Thomas – Thomas is still one of my favorite guards and he remains a fairly underrated guy for fantasy leagues. He has scored over 50 fantasy points in each of his last two games and I think he is a good bet to keep that up. I am rolling with him tonight.

PG – Dennis Schroder – Schroder is coming online tonight primarily as a value play for us. He has been playing well and looks to be dropping around 30 points a game over his last three or four games.

Next: Shooting Guards

Jan 10, 2016; New York, NY, USA; Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (34) controls the ball against the New York Knicks during the second quarter at Madison Square Garden. Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

SG – Giannis Antetokounmpo – Antetokounmpo came roaring back to life last night after a mildly mediocre stretch. He scored over 50 fantasy points and he seemed to be as hot as he has ever been. I am going to roll him out there again tonight and hope that he stuffs the stat sheet again.

SG – Zach LaVine – Lavine rolled out a pretty huge game last night. I am betting on that upside and the chance that he can put together two big games in a row. It seems that the Timberwolves are banking on LaVine continuing to step up his level of play and hopefully they will put the minutes behind that desire.

Next: Small Forwards

Jan 4, 2016; Milwaukee, WI, USA; San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green (14) puts pressure on Milwaukee Bucks guard Khris Middleton (22) in the first quarter at BMO Harris Bradley Center. Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Khris Middleton – Middleton has been in a stretch of some really nice basketball. At this price I still think he is a pretty solid bargain type of player. I am hoping that no one else much tries to use him and that he can put up similar numbers to last night when he dropped over 36 fantasy points.

SF – Jae Crowder – Crowder has become a favorite of mine to use at this moment while his price is relatively low. He is not a shiny fantasy star, but he is pretty consistent and we know mostly what to expect from him. He is a pretty safe bet to give us 30 fantasy points almost every time he suits up.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Jan 9, 2016; Atlanta, GA, USA; Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap (4) discusses a call with referee Tom Washington (49) during the game against the Chicago Bulls during the second half at Philips Arena. The Hawks defeated the Bulls 120-105. Mandatory Credit: Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Paul Millsap – Millsap is a great player to use here at FanDuel. He is also one of the more consistent players in the league and seems to pretty much deliver the mail every night. I like to use him since he is not too highly priced and has the upside to drop a 50 point game.

PF – Drew Gooden – Gooden had a great game the other night when Marcin Gortat went down with an injury. Gortat is set to miss again tonight and that should set the table for Gooden to be a great play at a small price. Hopefully his health can hold up for one more night.

Center:

C – DeMarcus Cousins – Cousins is a solid every night stud. In his last four games he has scored 50.5, 50.5, 65.4, and 60.3 fantasy points. He is a high-priced stud and has the stats to verify that cost. Use him with confidence tonight as you would on any given night.
