High Salary W

Alexander Ovechkin-Washington Capitals ($8,700): It will be tough for Ovechkin to match Sunday’s performance but he’s been absolutely on fire the last three games. He scored two goals against Ottawa, the first of which gave him 500 for his career. He’s riding a three-game point streak with five goals over that stretch. Ovie is virtually unstoppable right now and needs to be in your fantasy lineup, especially with the very favorable home matchup against Vancouver. The Capitals are rolling and so is Ovechkin.

Patrick Kane-Chicago Blackhawks ($8,900): Kane finds himself with 25 goals this season, one behind Alexander Ovechkin for the league lead. You won’t likely be able to afford both top wingers in your lineup,  so if you are choosing one, a strong case can be made for Kane. He picked up an assist on Tuesday and currently has a two-game point streak. He’s got 13 points in his last eight games and is clearly one of the top-two fantasy options at winger available.

High Value W

Justin Williams-Washington Capitals ($4,700): Williams went through a four-game pointless streak but has turned it on during the last two games. He’s got a two-game point streak with two goals and an assist over that time. Williams is a top-six player for the best team in the league. That’s a good position for both he and his fantasy owners. Vancouver presents a favorable matchup for the winger tonight, making him a top target.

Max Domi-Arizona Coyotes ($5,100): Domi has been inconsistent as of late but he has put up 31 total points thus far this season. He is coming off a monster game against Edmonton on Tuesday in which he notched a hat trick. Expecting that same type of production tonight is a bit much, but it’s worth taking a chance on him and hoping that he stays hot.

Joel Ward-San Jose Sharks ($4,800): Ward went through a stretch earlier this season in which he was always a top fantasy value option with 14 points over his first 15 games. He’s cooled off since then but could be heating back up. Ward currently has a two-game goal streak and points in three of his last four. Edmonton is one of the worst teams against right wingers, making Ward a must-own tonight.
