High Salary G

Braden Holtby-Washington Capitals ($8,500): Holtby got the night off on Sunday so he’ll be well-rested for tonight’s tilt with Vancouver. He leads the NHL with 27 wins and has a fantastic 1.90 GAA. The Capitals are the best team in the league, thanks in large part to Holtby’s stellar play in net. He will get a great matchup tonight, as the Canucks are ranked 25th in goals scored per game. Holtby has been lights-out this season and is a must-start on most nights.

Henrik Lundqvist-New York Rangers ($7,800): Lundqvist is the confirmed starter for the Rangers tonight when they take on the Islanders. He had a strong showing on Monday night, stopping 32 of 33 shots in a victory over Boston. His numbers haven’t been as stellar this year as we’ve come to expect, but he does have 19 wins so far. The Islanders are one of the better scoring teams in the league averaging 2.7 goals a game. Still, if you’re looking to pay for a top netminder, Lundqvist can still be the foundation of a fantasy lineup.

High Value G

Connor Hellebuyck-Winnipeg Jets ($7,200): Winnipeg’s current starting goalie has been roughed up in his last two starts and hasn’t recorded a win since January 5. He allowed three goals in each of the last two losses and will look to right the ship this evening in a good home matchup with Nashville. The Predators have had some trouble putting the puck in the net, something that’s good for opposing goalies. Hellebuyck will want to get some good quality starts under his belt if he wishes to have a chance at keeping the starting job. Take a flier on him tonight.

Martin Jones-San Jose Sharks ($7,000): Jones hasn’t been the model of consistency this season but he’s put up some fairly good numbers in his first year as San Jose’s starter. He reeled off two wins in-a-row before getting the night off on Tuesday. He will most likely be the one protecting the net tonight and makes for a good start against Edmonton.
