The NBA has a handful of games on Thursday night, July 14, and you can build your DFS fantasy basketball team with the help of my FanDuel Daily Picks.

The NBA has a rare midweek matinee today as the Raptors and Magic meet in London, but tonight there are five good games on schedule giving us a solid pool of options for daily fantasy basketball. It’s a slightly busier Thursday than normal, as ten teams get ready to tip-off tonight. To check out my top options of the day, scroll through the following slides of my FanDuel daily picks for Thursday night’s five games.

The games tonight start with the Bulls and 76ers tipping off at 7:00 PM ET which is when the main competition on FanDuel will lock the rosters for the night. There are two games starting at 8:00 highlighted by the Cavs visiting the Spurs who are 22-0 at home so far this season. TNT will have that game covered, but the Pistons and Grizzlies also start at 8:00 in a game with some solid fantasy options. At 9:00 the Kings and Jazz finish off their back-to-backs with a meeting in Utah, and in the final game of the day the Warriors host the Lakers in the nightcap.
With 10 teams in action, there are definitely good options to build your team around. I’ve collected my favorite players for today’s contests on the following slides in my FanDuel daily picks. There is a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options at each position. On each slide you’ll find at least a couple of options with a few extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
Since the start of 2016, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for tonight’s contests.
In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring. If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our Fansided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.
