Kobe Bryant turns back the clock on Klay Thompson (Video)
Kobe Bryant took Klay Thompson back to school early in the first quarter.
Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant might be on his way out of the league after the season and have a bad Achilles tendon, but that isn’t stopping Bryant from taking other superstars in the league back to school.
On the road against the mighty Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, Bryant showed Klay Thompson a thing or two on the court in one fell swoop.
As he drove outside the paint on Thompson, Bryant swung back to the inside and knocked down the shot with the left hand, while Thompson was left wondering how the older Bryant was able to pull that off.
Bryant may not be the best player that he once was and he might have a bad Achilles that has made team doctor want him to shut it down. Still, no one has quite the competitive drive that he has on the court and that’s going to make him want to go out against the best every single night of the week.
He also still has the propensity to make ridiculous plays like spinning backwards on a bad Achilles and hitting the shot with the left hand.
