Jimmy Butler drops 50 on the Philadelphia 76ers

Jimmy Butler is on fire during the greatest season of his career, and tonight may have been the peak with a 50 point performance against the Philadelphia 76ers. Some might try to discredit the 50 by saying he needed overtime to do it, but he had reached the half century mark before the end of the fourth so he’s exempt from that. The bigger question is why were they going to overtime, against the Sixers, in the first place.
LeBron James goes vintage with a one handed slam

Remember the days where LeBron James would dunk everything he possibly could? Every once in awhile we get a flash of that, and last night James gave us one of those flashes with a modern LeBron twist. The old James used to just get a full head of steam and charge the rim. This LeBron posted up the smaller man, and used his superior size to spin around and throw down a ferocious dunk. Just like the old days.
Mario Chalmers makes game winners funny

Mario Chalmers has all of the confidence in the world. He thinks he’s one of the top players in the NBA even though we all know he’s merely a solid starter at best. That doesn’t stop him from taking game winning shots though. It also doesn’t stop him from losing the ball, and taking an off balance shot to make the game winner anyways. Chalmers is just naturally funny even when he doesn’t try to be.
Doug McDermott dunked???

Wait…Dough McDermott dunks? It’s not surprising, because he’s a pretty athletic guy, but he rarely ventures down low enough to do so. Most of his time is spent out on the perimeter shooting 3-pointers, but if he wants to start driving towards the rim and throwing down rim rattlers none of us will complain.
Rudy Gay is as clutch as they come

Get your popcorn ready because Rudy Gay is as clutch as they come. When the Kings need someone to take a big shot, and take his man off the dribble, then Gay will always be there for them ready to step up. He did it here, and he’ll do it again in the future. The man has ice in his veins.
