Bo Horvat continued his hot streak against the Carolina Hurricanes, giving them a 3-2 overtime win

Vancouver Canucks center Bo Horvat had a five-game point streak entering their game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Jan.15. He extended his point streak to six games with a second period goal. Bo wasn’t done for the not. Bo knows how to help his Canucks win. He did so with his second goal of the evening in overtime.

What a snipe by Horvat there. That’s a great shot from prime goal scoring territory. Christopher Tanev does a solid job corralling the puck and getting it to Radim Vrbata. The Canes were likely expecting Vrbata to shoot. Horvat uses his instincts to sneak into the faceoff circle where he has a clear shot on goal.

Bo Horvat has been a huge bright spot for the Canucks this season. After a slow start to the season, Horvat now has eight goals on the season. He also has 19 points in 45 games. He has found his niche on the Canucks second line as their center. If the Canucks want to do anything in the playoffs, they’re going to need Horvat to stay hot and keep on contributing. This is a step in the right direction for both Horvat and the Canucks.
