Check out my DraftKings daily picks as you set up your DFS fantasy basketball teams for a giant Friday night of NBA action.
The NBA has nine games on tap for this Friday night to help us star the weekend right including a nice double-header on ESPN. With 18 teams taking the floor, there’s a good pool for DFS fantasy basketball, so set your roster with the help of my DraftKings daily picks found on the following slides.

Tonight’s games get underway at 7:00 PM ET with the Thunder hosting the T-Wolves on ESPN in a rematch of a game from earlier this week. In the other 7:00 game, the Pacers and Wizards meet for the second time this season in an Eastern Conference matchup. Two more games get underway at 7:30 as two East Coast teams welcome in Western Conference opponents with Boston welcoming Phoenix and Brooklyn hosting Portland. At 8:00, three games tip off including a meeting of the current and former Hornets as Charlotte visits New Orleans joined by the Hawks-Bucks and the Bulls-Mavericks. The Nuggets will look to build on their win over the Warriors at 9:00 as they take on the Heat, and at 9:30 the ESPN double-header closes out the night with a matchup of the Cavs and Rockets which could set up a nice James Harden vs LeBron James matchup if the King is able to take the court for the second night in a row.
With those 18 teams in action, there is no shortage of options for tonight’s fantasy contests. I’ve collected my favorite options for today’s contests on the following slides in my DraftKings daily picks. At each position, you’ll find a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with a few extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.
Since the start of 2016, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but the short version is “more stars=more confidence.” On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for tonight’s contests.
In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring. If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
