The L.A. Rams unveiled their new logo on Friday.
The Los Angeles Rams wasted no time getting to work establishing their new identity as they unveiled an updated logo at an L.A. press conference on Friday.
The NFL approved their move back to Los Angeles earlier this same week and some fans may have been hoping for a return to their old school yellow and blue jerseys and helmets which they wore during their time in Inglewood and Anaheim (although there was a brief time where they experimented with a blue and white look as well which wasn’t nearly as popular).
Their introductory press conference revealed that the color scheme won’t see any changes as the logo looks similar to the one they have used for the past several years in St. Louis, except of course with their new city name.
The Rams will play in the L.A. Coliseum the current home of the USC Trojans for the next three years, where it played from 1946-79, while a new stadium is being built. After the 1979 season, the team moved to Anaheim, where they remained until moving to St. Louis for the 1995 season.
