The NFL picks are in for the Divisional round, and there are a couple of upsets pending.

When the season began, nobody would have been shocked to see the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl for the third straight season. On the AFC side, few would have seen the Kansas City Chiefs making it to the final weekend, although the idea as predicted by a few national writers.

Both teams have taken a similar path to get to this weekend. They struggled at first, rebounded with fury, won on Wild Card weekend and now find themselves on the road, getting plenty of love. Kansas City is trying to take down the defending-champion New England Patriots, while Seattle aims to take out the 15-1 and top-seeded Carolina Panthers.

The only favorite expected to easily roll is the Arizona Cardinals, who just hammered the Green Bay Packers by 30 points in Week 16. The Denver Broncos also got four of the six votes, mostly because the Pittsburgh Steelers are so beaten up, missing both DeAngelo Williams and Antonio Brown.

Kansas City and Seattle got the lion’s share of the picks in their games. The Chiefs and Seahawks both have great defenses and mobile quarterbacks, but most of all, they are simply playing great football. If these two reached the Super Bowl, it would be a great game.
