For the first time since 1967 when the game was played on live television, Super Bowl I will be seen in its entirety.

If you love the National Football League, Super Bowl I marked a new era in the sport. It was the first time that an NFL team faced an American Football League team, with the game unfolding just months after the merger that would have the two leagues combining completely in 1970.

Despite CBS and NBC both carrying the game live (the only Super Bowl ever broadcasted by two networks), the tape of the game was lost. Most assumed it was gone forever, but through extensive and exhaustive research, NFL Films has found the entire game. It will be shown for all the world to see on NFL Network.

When: Friday, Jan. 15, 2016
TV: NFL Network
Time: 8 p.m. EST

The contest as played by the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs, the respective NFL and AFL champions. Green Bay would only lead 14-10 at halftime despite being heavily favored, before dominating in the second half with 21 unanswered points. Max McGee would be the surprise star of the game, going over 100 receiving yards including two touchdowns.

This is a must-watch for any NFL fan.
