Derek Fisher is on thin ice with the New York Knicks, so here are five guys who could replace him on the bench
Head coach Derek Fisherās days may be numbered on the bench for the New York Knicks. In the Big Apple, fans expect the Knicks to compete for championships and they wouldnāt even be in the playoffs if the season ended today. Phil Jackson may be forced to pick a different man to lead the Knicks at MSG.
Some might be surprised that the Knicks are thinking about parting ways with Fisher given their demonstrated improvement this season. Still, NBA insiders like Brian Windhorst and Zach Lowe keep hearing rumblings that Fisher might not be safe. Itād be a curious time to make a coaching change, but that would be par for the course for the Knicks over the past decade.
