After the Packers lost in one of the wildest finishes to an NFL playoff game ever, Aaron Rodgers got the ‘Crying Jordan’ treatment.

This was a game that belonged in the Hall of Fame. When it looked like the Packers weren’t going to come back, Aaron Rodgers threw a Hail Mary that somehow sent this game to overtime. Once there, the Cardinals saw Rodgers’ Hail Mary and raised him a Hail “Larry”. It couldn’t have been a worse ending for Rodgers and the Packers, but of course, the Internet has no sympathy:

The Crying Jordan meme, which is one of the most popular Internet memes since it made its debut, is perhaps the only thing that could do this game justice. But even that might not accurately portray how Rodgers is feeling right now. His team has been eliminated from the playoffs in the most heartbreaking fashion you could ever think up two years in a row, and both times he couldn’t do anything about it.

Watching this game, and this season, it makes you think where the Packers would be without Aaron Rodgers. There’s no telling what the fallout of this game will look like either. Is McCarthy’s, or someone else’s, job on the line?

How many people will be returning next season? Crying Jordan should sum up the Packers team as a whole rather than Rodgers, who does everything he can for his team to win the game.
