Indie wrestler Connor Braxton performed a Giant Swing on his opponent while on a hoverboard
Independent wrestling has some of the most creative talent in the world. Recently, indie star Joey Ryan gained viral fame for curating the YouPorn-Plex (nee Penis-Plex) and all its glory. However, young indie up-and-comer Connor Braxton may have the next big thing in independent professional wrestling that he showed off at AAW Wrestling’s The Chaos Theory show on Friday night with the help of his hoverboard.
Braxton was part of a six-man tag team match on the Chicago-based promotion’s show on Friday night and found himself with the upper hand on Mat Fitchett. Braxton then pulled out his hoverboard, something that he rides to the ring on as part of his gimmick, and then did one of the greatest things you’ll ever see in the squared circle by performing a Giant Swing on Fitchett while riding the hoverboard:
That’s absolutely phenomenal. Wrestling fans have seen Cesaro pull off this maneuver in WWE, but Braxton is taking the move to new heights and into the future by invoking the help of his trusty hoverboard.
Braxton has gained some steam recently since graduating from The Black & The Brave Wrestling Academy, the wrestling school that so happens to be run by former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. If he keeps pulling out moves such as this one with such creativity and entertainment value, it might not be long before he’s under the same umbrella as Rollins in the big leagues.
