The Houston Rockets were embarrassed at home by the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night, 91-77. As is typically the case with a blowout, the end of the game featured some little-used, end-of-the-bench guys that rarely see game action under normal circumstances.
One of those little-used, end-of-the-bench types is Cavs center Sasha Kaun, whom you may remember from his time at Kansas about a decade ago. Since being drafted by the then-Sonics back in 2008, though, Kaun has spent the last eight years playing for CSKA Moscow of the Russian league. Considering this is his first season in the NBA, it makes sense that most players around the league would probably have no idea who he is.
Safe to say, based on this video, that Jason Terry was one of those players. JET had to check the back of Kaun’s jersey to try and figure out his name (via Reddit):
Poor Sasha. Maybe one day we’ll all know your name, buddy.
