Meek Mill dabbed at Sixers game (Video)

The Philadelphia 76ers’ fifth win of the season was made even greater when Meek Mill showed up on the Jumbotron and hit the dab.

The Sixers may have just found their key to victory: Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill. He was shown sitting courtside with Nicki Minaj after he promoted his new mixtape. When the Jumbotron showed him, he hit the dab. The Sixers’ official Twitter account captured the moment:

That might have been the reason why the Portland Trail Blazers decided not to show up to play. Either they were too busy bumping Meek’s new mixtape or his presence distracted him so much that the 76ers capitalized on it. Whatever the case, the Sixers got just their fifth win of the season in what was a 114-89 blowout.

The city of Philadelphia has taken a lot of L’s over the course of 2015, from “Back to Back” to Chip Kelly and the Eagles and the 76ers’ historically bad start to the season. So it was nice to see them bounce back with a big win in front of Meek Mill before he goes on a world tour – or his girl’s tour? – to promote his new mixtape.

In the end, the Sixers are hoping this type of win doesn’t turn their season around because fans are still supposed to trust the process so they can get the new GOAT Ben Simmons.
