Before the matchup between the Chiefs and the Patriots, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made fun of Tom Brady’s cocky pre-game walk
Before the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots squared off on Saturday, things almost got a little bit heated. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady jogged out before the game and added a little bit of a skip to his jog right in front of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce wasn’t going to take that so he decided to mock Brady by skipping like Brady did.
That is quite typical of Kelce, who has emerged as a bit of cult hero for the Chiefs. He had 72 receptions for 875 receiving yards during the regular season with five touchdowns. He has quickly emerged as one of the best tight ends in the NFL and Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith’s favorite target. That’s very bold of him to make fun of Tom Brady though. If you’re going to go at the king like that, you’d better not miss or you’ll be hearing about it for the rest of your career.
Travis Kelce is firrred up. Brady takes field to Jay z & runs length of field, as always. Kelce meets him for words. Place is electric now.

It should be interesting to see if that intensity carries over to the game. The Patriots came out strong with a touchdown from Rob Gronkowski but the Chiefs were able to get a late first-period field goal to cut the Pats lead to 7-3.
