Patrick Peterson made sure to taunt James Starks ran back a 100-yard pick-six that was called back

The Green Bay Packers were trying to get their ducks in a row in first half after the Arizona Cardinals jumped out to a 7-0 lead on them early on in their NFC Divisional Round matchup. However, it seemed like the worst possible outcome had befell Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay when his off-balanced throw was picked off by Patrick Peterson and returned 100 yards.

The interceptions was ultimately nullified thanks to a illegal use of hands, hands to the face penalty on Frosty Rucker, but that didn’t stop Peterson from hitting James Starks with an absolutely hilarious taunt on his way into the end zone:

There are so many things that the finger wag could mean in that situation. It could Peterson telling Starks that it’s a bad idea to throw his way. It could be Peterson saying that Starks shouldn’t even try to catch him. It could be Peterson saying that that the Packers don’t even have a chance in this game.

Whatever it is, it was a taunt over nothing because the pick-six was ultimately called back. Even still, you have to wonder if we’ll see that taunt or something similar if Peterson or another Cardinals player finds themselves on the right end of a pick-six later against Green Bay.
