Tom Brady decides to keep it himself and run in a touchdown not once, but twice.

No Dion Lewis? No LeGarrete Blount? No problem. Tom Terrific can do it all, include run in the score himself. His first attempt was just short, as video review deemed the ball was inches away from the goal line against the Chiefs on Saturday.

But at first, if you don’t succeed — try, try again. And that’s exactly what Brady did with a QB sneak on third and goal, despite the Chiefs’ best efforts at stacking the goal line. The score was good to put the Patriots up 14-3.

Brady’s obviously not much of a dual-threat quarterback, but this is his fourth rushing touchdown on the year; the most he’s ever had in a season was four in back in 2012.

Brady has been his usual dominant self at the start of this game, and the Chiefs, who have averaged 11.6 points per game on their winning streak, have had no answer for the Patriots offense so far. Some people questioned whether the Patriots still had it heading into the playoffs after they could only put up 13 points in their last game against the Miami Dolphins. But they’ve just been saving their offense and Edelman, for the playoffs. As it is, the road to the Super Bowl in the AFC runs through New England.
