Jermaine Kearse gets Seahawks on board (Video)

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jermaine Kearse finally got his team on the board with a big touchdown catch.

The Seattle Seahawks got absolutely annihilated by the Carolina Panthers in the first half of their playoff game on Sunday. Needing to get something going in the second half of the game, the Seahawks went down and put points on the board to start the second half.

The deficit might have been big, but it was great composure by Russell Wilson and a great catch by Jermaine Kearse to make it all happen.

Deep in Carolina territory, Wilson threw a beautiful pass for Kearse, who went up and brought it back down for Seattle’s very first points of the day.

Wilson threw plenty of bad passes in the first against the Panthers, but he put that pass to Kearse in a spot where only his wide receiver could go up and get it. Rather than trying to force things like he was early, he looked like the Russell Wilson everyone is used to with great poise.

Kearse has always done a good job of making the big catch when Seattle needs it and being down 31 early, the Seahawks absolutely needed it badly.
