The Carolina Panthers got off to a dream start against Seattle, as Luke Kuechly’s pick-six made it 14-0.
The Carolina Panthers are showing why they’re the best team in the league. Just three minutes in to the game, they’ve pounced to a 14-0 lead over the Seahawks. Wilson’s first drive couldn’t have gone any worse, as Luke Kuechly returned an interception for a touchdown from short yardage:
Already, the Panthers have re-affirmed their status as the big boys of the NFL. It looks like the Panthers, and Cam Newton, learned a lot from their playoff loss to Seattle last season, as they are commanding the rematch so far. As it stands, the road to the Super Bowl from the NFC runs through Carolina.
I’m sure Vikings fans are still watching this game knowing that the Seahawks don’t deserve to be in this game. But right now, the ‘Hawks are playing like a team that should’ve been eliminated from the Wild Card Round. Marshawn Lynch’s return should provide a spark, but his first carry went for a loss of yards. Granted, there’s a lot of football left to be played but the Panthers look much the better team so far, while the Seahawks can’t get anything going on offense or defense.
