Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has been released from the hospital after a vicious shot to the chest.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb suffered a gruesome injury in Saturday night’s playoff game against the Arizona Cardinals. After an amazing deep catch that was nullified, Cobb began spitting up blood and had to leave the game.

On the play he took a shot from the Cardinals’ Justin Bethel, who fell right on his chest. Cobb had some sort of internal injury and would be taken to the hospital.

The good news is that it appears he is fine and he has been released from the hospital. Cobb posted the good news for everyone on Twitter.

After a scary injury like the one Cobb suffered, everyone was immediately concerned for his health. Internal injuries are another scary aspect of the game that can occur from big hits and it was clear right away that the talented wide receiver was not in a good place physically.

While the Packers’ season is over after their loss Saturday, they can take solace in knowing that their receiver is fine and that he’ll be back, along with plenty of other injured Packers, to begin next season.
