The Denver Broncos defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers to reach the AFC Championship game.

Final. 23. 45. 16. 55

The Denver Broncos hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Divisional Round matchup of the AFC playoffs. It was an intriguing matchup for the two banged up teams. The Steelers would be without star wide receiver Antonio Brown, the Denver Broncos were getting back quarterback Peyton Manning back and there were some question marks.

The wind was a factor and it was mainly a duel between kickers. It looked like the Steelers would get the win, dominating with big plays and moving the ball. But costly turnovers at the end of the game handed the Broncos the lead and the win.

Three stars

  1. Martavis Bryant, WR, Steelers – He was a huge playmaker for the Steelers in a windy game, hauling in nine passes for 154 yards.
  2. Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Steelers – He passed for over 300 yards but had zero touchdowns.
  3. Brandon McManus, K, Broncos – Converted five of five field goals for 15 of the Broncos points.
