Anderson Varejao fails to post up, decides to throw ball out of bounds (Video)

Cleveland Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao gave up trying to make a move in the post and threw the ball out of bounds.

It’s been one of those nights for the Cleveland Cavaliers. They got destroyed by the Golden State Warriors in an NBA Finals rematch and there’s plenty of questions as to whether or not they can compete with the Warriors if they meet in the NBA Finals again the season.

One player that would like to forget Monday night was Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao. Although Varejao didn’t come in until the game was out of hand, he had an embarrassing play that he would probably like to forget.

As Varejao was working in the post, he decided that he was going nowhere and went to throw a pass out beyond the arc. The problem was that there was no one there to receive the pass and it promptly went out of bounds.

As is the case with these types of plays, Varejao just guaranteed himself a spot on Shaqtin’ A Fool. The good news is that the Cavaliers lost so badly that people will be talking about that and not the fact that Varejao looked like he forgot how to play center.
