James Harden-Houston Rockets (9,500): Harden bounced back from a bad game Friday with a 40-fantasy-point performance last night against the Lakers pouring in 31 points in just 27 minutes and adding five assists and three rebounds.  He will probably have to play a much heavier workload tonight against the Clippers who he has a history of lighting up. In his last game against LA, he didn’t score much against them but did have a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists.  In his first game against them this season back in early November, he led the Rockets to a 109-105 win in LA with a monster 46 points to go with four boards, two assists, and a steal.  Given his success against them and his limited playing time last night, “The Beard” is actually a pretty solid value at just 9,500.  He has a least 40 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games, and I think he’ll almost certainly cross that threshold again tonight with the potential for much more if he starts feeling it like he did the first time he played them in LA.   ∗∗

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (7,100): Klay had his best game in a couple weeks in the Warriors’ loss on Wednesday finishing with over 30 fantasy points for the first time in five games and totaling 24 points, six rebounds, and an assist in his 32 minutes.  He had just 18 points when the Warriors played the Cavs earlier this season and only got up four three-point attempts.  Thompson always has the potential to go off which could make him a steal at just over 7K, but he’s in a tough matchup and hasn’t been lighting it up lately, so I see him as a high-risk play tonight.
