Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh climbed a tree while on a recruiting visit.

Jim Harbaugh is highly unconventional and that’s what makes him a great coach and a fascinating human being.

He seems out of his mind all the time and he never ceases to amaze people with his actions on the field as a coach and out on the road recruiting. Whether it’s a sleepover with a recruit or going bowling, Harbaugh is always having fun and being his wacky normal self.

Recently while on a recruiting visit, Harbaugh decided to have some fun and climb a tree for no apparent reason.

Harbaugh is trying to convince four-star cornerback David Long to join the Wolverines’ program in Ann Arbor and he’ll even climb a tree to get it done. Michigan is currently slated to have one of the top recruiting classes in the nation and it’s clear that his unconventional methods are paying off.

If that means climbing a tree and being a true woodsman, then Harbaugh is up for the challenge to get his recruits. He would probably climb one of those California Redwoods if it meant getting a recruit.

That’s just the Harbaugh style of recruiting and the party never stops.
