Cleveland Cavaliers players aren’t taking a recent comment by Stephen Curry too well.

The 2014-2015 NBA season saw the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games to win the NBA Finals. The Warriors were led by NBA MVP Stephen Curry, who is heading towards another award-winning year again.

On Monday night, the Warriors are traveling to Cleveland to take on the Cavs at Quicken Loans Arena. This will be the first time the team has been there since the Game 6 win.

Sunday, Curry made a comment about the visiting locker room inside Quicken Loans arena, saying he hopes it “still smells a little bit like champagne.”

Well, according to Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com, Cavs players didn’t appreciate this comment made by the NBA’s scoring leader. They found the quote “disrespectful”.

Curry apparently heard about this and took to Twitter to respond late Sunday night.

Based on the direction these two teams are going in this season, it’s possible the Quicken Loans Arena visiting locker room smells like champagne once again. The Warriors have the league’s best record and the Cavs are at the top of the Eastern Conference. Golden State would hold homecourt advantage, meaning that a potential Game 6 would take place inside the same arena again.

But before we get there, the Warriors and Cavs will go to battle tonight in a potential preview of what could happen in June.
