Warriors guard Stephen Curry gave an update on what the locker room smelled like in Cleveland after earlier comments.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry rubbed some people wrong before the team’s return to Cleveland on Monday, when the reigning MVP said that he hoped the visiting locker still smelled like champagne.

Well it didn’t matter what people thought of his comments, because Curry and the Warriors went out and absolutely blasted the Cleveland Cavaliers. At one point the Warriors had a lead greater than 40 points and fans in the stands were literally falling asleep.

After a big win in the NBA Finals rematch that left many speechless, Curry was asked if the visiting locker room did indeed smell like Champagne.

It smelled like something else according to Curry.

It’s not quite champagne, but there’s nothing wrong with the smell of some fresh catered Morton’s. It sure beats the average locker room smell that isn’t befitting of NBA locker rooms.

Everyone thought his words would be great bulletin board material for the Cavaliers. Instead, the Cavaliers got beat bad and it left many questioning whether or not the Cavaliers could compete with the Warriors if they meet in the NBA Finals again.

Perhaps there won’t be catered Morton’s the next time Golden State comes to town.
