Stephen Curry initiated a chain reaction of beautiful offense for the Golden State Warriors against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Golden State Warriors and beautiful offense go hand-in-hand. It’s aesthetically pleasing to watch their style of basketball every single game and it all starts with Stephen Curry.
With a big NBA Finals rematch on the road at Cleveland on Martin Luther King Day, Curry and the Warriors came out red hot on offense. Curry was doing his thing from deep, but he was also setting up his teammates with some beautiful passes.
One play early on, there was a great amount of teamwork from the Warriors, as Stephen Curry fed Draymond Green on a pick-and-roll, who then lobbed it up to Festus Ezeli for a big alley-oop slam.

The Cavaliers had a defensive strategy of trapping Curry and forcing him into a bad pass or a turnover. With defense like that, most point guards would have turned the ball over.
Instead, Curry somehow made a brilliant pass to Green, who then made a great lob to the open Ezeli for the wide-open slam. There’s always constantly ridiculous plays like this when it comes to Warriors basketball.
Expect the unexpected.
