It’s now looking as if AJ Styles will not make his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble on Sunday night.

There’s is a lot to look forward to on Sunday night with WWE Royal Rumble taking place. Of course, a day cannot go by as of late without us seeing something in regards to AJ Styles making his debut in the Rumble match itself. There were even reports that the original plan all along was to have Styles shock everyone with his appearance.

Well as we know, news of Styles’ move to WWE hit the internet and it hit the internet like a tidal wave. With this being the case, many have speculated whether or not the company would be pulling back on the plans now that the cat has been let out of the bag. As much as we’re looking forward to a potential Styles appearance on Sunday night, we know the possibility is there that our collective hearts will be broken if he doesn’t show up.

It looks like they might be pulling the reins back after all.

According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com, at the moment the company has decided to save the Styles debut for the night after the Royal Rumble. They are planning on running vignettes as well, to introduce the WWE audience to Styles. Of course, there is the fear there that no one will know who he is if they debut him as a shock in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday night.

Now this is WWE and a lot can change between now and Sunday night. There is the possibility that someone can make the last-minute decision that putting Styles in the Rumble match is the right way to go and we’ll all get what we want.

Whatever the case ultimately ends up being, we’re just about guaranteed that we will see AJ Styles in WWE within the next week, so that’s at least refreshing.
