The Warriors make a statement

How can we start out with anything other than the Golden State Warriors’ complete dismantling of the Cleveland Cavaliers? The Warriors jumped the Cavs from the start and held the accelerator to the floor through the entire game, eventually winning with a final score of 132-98. There’s no other team that can be as wonderfully disrespectful as the Warriors, who left in Steph Curry and the rest of their starters, even after the game had already been decided, if only to nail their point home that last year’s NBA Finals runners-up are no match for the team from Oakland.

Kemba Walker scores 52 against the Jazz

The Charlotte Hornets needed everything they got from Walker, who, in addition to his 52 points, also had 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Utah forced the game into overtime, and then into a second one; but Kemba’s scoring outburst proved to be too much.

Boban Marjanovic puts Jeremy Evans on a poster, stares him down.

San Antonio’s newest folk hero, Marjanovic, had his legend grow a bit with this ferocious jam on the Mavericks’ Jeremy Evans. And not only did Boban put him on a poster, he then stared Evans down while hanging on the rim (while his feet were on the ground, mind you), all of which earned the 7’3″ center his first NBA technical.

Kristaps Porzingis adds another dunk to his highlight reel

This is why you bust your tail down the floor, kids. Even in semi-transition, if you run hard to the rim, your point guard might find you for an easy dunk like Calderon does for Porzingis here.
