Former legendary Batlimore Ravens defensive back Ed Reed had a pretty simple answer on how to beat the New England Patriots.

Ed Reed used to terrorize opposing quarterbacks for years with the Baltimore Ravens. With an eye for the football, Reed was a monster at making big interceptions and taking them to the house. He recently joined Rex Ryan’s staff with the Buffalo Bills and is ready to begin a coaching career.

With Reed’s Ravens squaring off many times with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in big games, Reed was asked to give his advice on how to beat Brady and the Patriots.

Reed simply said, “Pray.”

With the amount of times that the Ravens and Patriots squared off in the regular season and postseason during Reed’s time in Baltimore, he knows just how dangerous the Patriots are when they get to this setting.

They bring their best the deeper they get into the playoffs and Reed knows that beating them is a very tall task to ask for. The Ravens and Patriots had some epic clashes on the field, including two AFC Championship Games that saw memorable wins for both franchises.

If there’s anyone knows what it takes to beat Brady, it’s Reed and even he knows that’s it not easy at all.
