The best sleepers at each position for FanDuel daily fantasy basketball on Tuesday, Jan. 19
There are only four NBA games on the schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 19 as the league takes a bit of a break after a hectic Martin Luther King Jr. holiday slate of games that saw 20 teams in action throughout the entire day. With only eight teams in play on Tuesday, the sleepers are going to be harder to pinpoint when daily fantasy basketball players are building their lineups—but that only makes identifying them all the more valuable.
During the MLK Day holiday there were a number of sleepers that emerged as high quality daily fantasy basketball options. Portland Trail Blazers center Mason Plumlee ($5,000) had a solid night on the hardwood as he put up 35.7 fantasy points in FanDuel scoring. Andre Iguodala ($4,200) also had a nice night at the office as the Golden State Warriors routed the Cleveland Cavaliers as he put up 30.1 fantasy points. Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley also wound up with a solid outing in terms of DFS play with 38.1 fantasy points. Though not a sleeper, Kemba Walker’s unreal 75.8 fantasy points on Monday deserve recognition because he was simply awe striking.
The action on the short slate of games on Tuesday night will tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET as the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks will do battle on the hardwood. Next up will be the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves putting one another to the test starting at 8 p.m. ET. The night in the Association will then come to a close with two games at 9 p.m. ET with the Indiana Pacers facing the Phoenix Suns and also the Oklahoma City Thunder playing the Denver Nuggets.
