Giannis Antetokounmpo blew by Dwyane Wade before mashing on Hassan Whiteside

Earlier in the matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat, the explosive Bucks forward in Giannis Antetokounmpo got out-jumped by Heat rookie Josh Richardson on a big tomahawk dunk. However, The Greek Freak was ready to do some jamming of his own later on and Heat center Hassan Whiteside happened to be Antetokounmpo’s victim of choice.

Giannis started with the ball out on the left wing with Dwyane Wade guarding him. The young forward simply blew by the veteran Wade and then used a great pick-up move to get by him to the rim. Whiteside was there waiting to try and deny Giannis, but The Greek Freak wasn’t going to be denied as he went up and threw down a monstrous slam over the shot blocking Miami center:

It feels like it’s almost a daily thing that Antetokounmpo is doing something like this that is wholly incredible. A player with his length and his athleticism shouldn’t be able to blow by a guard from the perimeter off of the dribble and then dunk on one of the best rim-protectors in the entire league at his age. That’s just absurd.

Giannis is only going to get more and more impressive as he garners more experience, which should be a scary shower thought for the rest of the league if he’s already doing things like this after just a few years playing in the Association.
