Kris Dunn once again showed why he’s really good at what he does on a basketball court.
Tuesday night we’re getting what turned out to be an incredible bout between the Providence Friars and Butler Bulldogs, which of course means that we get to see one of the best players in the country, Kris Dunn.
Dunn is indeed thought of to be maybe the best point guard in the nation and he continually goes out there on the court and shows us all why. On Tuesday in a close game down the stretch, he wowed us once again with his skills.
The senior received the ball at the top of the key and he made a break for the hoop. Normally you’d think he’d go for the glory and the bucket, but no. Dunn is so great at point guard because he can get off insane passes like this one he dumped off to Ben Bentil for the bucket.
"Kris Dunn with the SWEET dish, Ben Bentil with the SLAM! #16 @PCFriarsmbb takes the 2 point lead over #18 Butler https://t.co/LECqjEGLNl— FS1 (@FS1) January 20, 2016"
Is there really any doubt why people think so highly of him? All you have to do is watch stuff like this that he pulls off on the court and you will think he’s the best player in the country.
While this was an impressive play, the humble Dunn will more than likely tell you that the best part of this night was that he and the No. 116-ranked Friars were able to hold on for the 71-68 win.
