Malik Jackson called the Patriots quarterback a “whiner” who “definitely throws temper tantrums” in an interview on Tuesday.

Considering the Denver Broncos are 3-point underdogs in this Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, you’d think they wouldn’t be providing the New England Patriots with any extra added motivation ahead of the big NFL game. But apparently certain Broncos players feel disrespected by not being favored this weekend, especially having home-field advantage and the No. 1 seed in the conference, and they’re taking to the media to express their displeasure.

In an interview on ProFootballTalk Live, Denver defensive end Malik Jackson was asked his thoughts regarding the future Hall of Fame quarterback who dons No. 12 for the Patriots, and Jackson didn’t hold back, decrying Brady as a “whiner” who “definitely throws temper tantrums.”

The quote is just another example of potential bulletin board material being spewed out by a Broncos defender. Defensive end Antonio Smith called Brady a “crybaby” on Tuesday, and linebacker Brandon Marshall also joined PFT Live on Monday and had harsh words for Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. When Marshall was asked why Gronk is so difficult to cover, he scoffed.

“I say ’cause he pushes off,” Marshall responded. “I mean, he pushes off and he gets away with it about 98 percent of the time.”

Marshall went on to praise Gronkowski’s skill set as well, but it’s becoming increasingly clear there’s no love lost between these two AFC rivals.
