Amy Schumer has come right out and shot down the notion that she’s stealing some of her material.

Amy Schumer is considered one of the funniest people –not just women– on the entire planet. The levels of success that she has hit as of late are quite admirable, however, recently she’s been dealing with some pretty strong accusations that she had to come out and address on Wednesday.

We’ve heard whispers before of Schumer potentially stealing some of her material, and over the weekend a few of her peers in Wendy Liebman, Kathleen Madigan, and Tammy Pescatelli came out on Twitter and accused her of taking some of their material.

As a matter of fact, there was one person who went out of their way to show us all some proof that Schumer might indeed be a joke thief, and it’s actually pretty interesting after you watch it (h/t

for the video).

After you take that video in, you could see where the accusations would come to light. However, there is also the chance that it’s entirely coincidence in all cases.

Regardless, as the news spread on Wednesday Schumer decided that something needed to be said.

It was brief and to the point, but at the same time it was a good idea for her to say something.

You all can watch the video above again and draw your own conclusions, but Schumer is sticking to her guns.
