Clint Capela doesn’t know how to score (Video)

Houston Rockets power forward Clint Capela momentarily forgot how to score a basketball.

Clint Capela has been a nice addition to the Houston Rockets ever since he was drafted. The big man might have a limited skill set, but he’s shown that he can work inside and he can protect the rim a little bit when Dwight Howard is off the court.

Against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night, Capela’s limited skill set inside got even more limited. Twice in one play, Capela forgot how to score a basket and quite frankly, the basketball looked like a foreign object to him.

First Capela missed a lob for an alley-oop and then he stuffed himself right at the rim.

Everyone on a basketball court has had their fair share of embarrassing plays on the court. To have two on one single play is even more special and it’s hard to figure out how he somehow managed to miss two wide-open scores at the rim.

Alas, there are no force fields around the rim, otherwise Capela would have a pretty good excuse for his ineptitude there.

To say that his offensive game is a work in progress would be an understatement right now.
